Peace is not something we can create on our own, it is the fruit of the Holy Spirit. It's shalom, wholeness, calmness, completeness with Jesus, the Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6). It is Jesus' nearness that calms and gives us peace in the middle of the raging storm.
John 16:33 I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.”
2 Thessalonians 3:16 Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times in every way. The Lord be with you all.
Isaiah 26:3 You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you.
Matthew 5:9 Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.
John 14:27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.
Romans 12:18 If possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all.
Colossians 3:15 And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful.
Prayer of Peace: “Lord, make me an instrument of Your peace; Where there is hatred, let me sow love; Where there is injury, pardon; Where there is doubt, faith; Where there is despair, hope; Where there is darkness, light; And where there is sadness, joy."
